Let me know if I’m following you correctly. You’d like to know what the point of this post is.

If that’s the case, then I can tell you that I’m trying to use some numbers to develop a picture of the Baysox upcoming series. If I’m really lucky, I’m able to add a little bit to the enjoyment of the games by giving folks a perspective that they may not have gotten by just showing up at the park.

My point for this particular post is that the Defenders are a pretty good team and that this weekend’s series should be pretty good. I thought it was particularly interesting that although, David Maroul’s numbers don’t look fantastic overall the situation he’s in this weekend (facing righties, away from home, on a hot streak) bodes really well for him.
