It’s official, Wieters is a Baysox
This afternoon, the Baysox confirmed Thursday’s Baltimore Sun story and broad speculation that catcher Matt Wieters has been added to Bowie’s roster. Tom Sedlacek, the Baysox communications manager, couldn’t confirm any corresponding changes to Bowie’s roster this morning.

The Balitmore Sun is reporting that the Orioles are expected to promote Frederick catcher and top prospect Matt Wieters to Bowie.
